As a company, GOJO® (parent of Purell®) has long been known for innovation in the bio-germ space. They came to us at a pivotal point in their history—the launch of the first all-new consumer product since their inception: Purell® Multi-Surface Spray.
Formulated
for Worry-Free™
Our assignment, successfully launch a new category innovation within a ridiculously crowded market. Unlike the competition, their new surface spray had an ace up its sleeve: worry-free use around kids, pets & food.
The solution? Drive awareness strictly through digital and put the focus on the spray in a multitude of real-life scenarios.
Out the gate, we created a brand awareness spot that highlighted just how safe the product is around everything edible, petable and lovable.
We created custom paid social units that treated the surface of the phone as another 'surface' to be disinfected.
We then FORMULATED FOR sponsored listening sessions with custom Pandora radio scripts and display units.
For Amazon and other online retailers, we also helped educate consumers around the science of disinfection using a vivid CGI-based environment.
Back-to-School #PassThePurell
Germs account for over 144 million missed school days each year. The use of PURELL® Hand Sanitizer consistently demonstrates a 50% reduction in those absences. It was our job to get that message out. We focused on all the various hands-on moments that happen throughout the school day: instrument sharing, art supply mishaps, high-five happiness, dropped cupcakes & scaley geckos included.
Out the gate, we did a re-edit of existing footage to create a broadcast spot that showcasing a variety of "hands-on" moments within schools.
Alongside the broadcast work, we created a series of six custom YouTube pre-rolls that broke the fourth wall and played with the illusion of the screen being its own germ-filled surface.
Next up, we made a series of custom Instagram and Facebook units that layered each platform's interface elements into the illusion.
