In any economic downturn, the ability to buy a “toy” is the first thing to go. After the housing crisis, H-D® bikes were no exception. With over 100 years in the business, Harley-Davidson understood this better than anyone. They were prepared to weather the storm with a new line of bikes that would debut at under $9k. Not only that, but the motorcycles were fully customizable online and shipped direct from the factory.
Introducing: H-D1™. We were tapped to get the word out and drive conversation.
H-D1™ No Cages
Bikes are freedom. Freedom from routine. Freedom from the grind.
Working alongside V&S, our work centered around freeing yourself from the cages of life. Our first project was a launch campaign for the new H-D1™ Bike Builder, an on-line factory customization experience where users could design a 1200C to their specs and have it built and delivered in just 3 weeks.
H-D™ Captain America
A summer blockbuster for the ages, we had the opportunity to bring together two American icons in one monstrously cinematic debut. We worked with Marvel to integrate a Harley-Davidson WLA into the entire Captain America series of Marvel movies.
We were tasked with driving awareness of the bike’s role in the movie and ultimately drive leads into dealers.
H-D1™ QR Builder
Fully customizable in the H-D world meant consumers configured every. single. option. added to the frame. We took this in stride and created a series of OOH boards that interfaced seamlessly with a receiving mobile site through unique QR hooks. Scan a QR, choose your wheels. Scan another, choose your handlebars. The resulting build could be completed and ordered direct from the factory.
